Tom Conlin - Trustee mobile phone 07770 758329; email: ceo@bcbs.org.uk I was a banker with NatWest for 30 years before taking early retirement in 1997. After a number of business/consultancy roles I am now Chief Executive of the Berkshire County Blind Society. I started supporting convoys in 1994 by fundraising and helping to sort/pack donations and loading the lorries prior to departure. I was persuaded to take part in a convoy in 1999 - and I haven't stopped since then! I am very fortunate to have gathered around me a very supportive team of people and organisations who have been invaluable in ensuring that I and/or at least one of my colleagues have been on every convoy since 1999. I was appointed as a Trustee of the charity in 2010.
Norman Hart has joined us to help with the charity's financial accounting and reporting. A Chartered Management Accountant, Norman worked for many years as an auditor in Central Government, as well as contract work with the Audit Commission and a spell with private sector accountants.
