Charles Storer
Co-Founder, Trustee and Head of Operations
Charles and his wife Bev, live in Ingatestone, just five miles from the M25 and Chelmsford, the County Town. Charles, who used to work for NatWest, leads the charity from his home and can be contacted there most days. Charles was one of the Hope and Aid Direct volunteers who went to Sri Lanka immediately after the Tsunami.
Charles is also the treasurer of another charity, which they both support, called No Strings who teach Land Mine safety to children by using puppets to convey their message.

Bev Storer works mostly in London for another charity "WarChild"  and has had work assignments in countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Tanzania.

Norman Hart has joined us to help with the charity's financial accounting and reporting. A Chartered Management Accountant, Norman worked for many years as an auditor in Central Government, as well as contract work with the Audit Commission and a spell with private sector accountants.
