Bob Charmbury

'Debonair, distinguished, dignified?' No, these are words that have never been used to describe or that could faintly be associated with Bob.
As HaADs answer to the traditional Butlin's Redcoat and in true Hi -de Hi style he has acted as a sort of 'Our man in Kosovo' for a few years. Now based in Peje, and when not stirred to activity by the hyper active Captain Chasser, his interests are in gentle mountain walking, researching Kosovar attitudes to safe driving and studied inactivity.

Bob was a Local Government Officer in the UK. He came to Kosovo in 1999 with UNMIK and has stayed except for limited work in Haiti, Albania and Kazakhstan. During his time in Kosovo he has worked for a number of International agencies and been based in Peje, Skenderaj, Gjakova and Pristina. He now lives in Peje.
